A lot has happened in the Blankstairs world since our last release in 2020.

Saint Warren is now the sole proprietor of this label entity - the label shall soon be renamed - "Tripped Erotica" to merge the now defunct "Tripped Erotica Index" label that SW had previously propagated with Blankstairs.

The newly minted Tripped Erotica label will be used additionally as the store for SW's perfume/cologne line and various other forms of merchandise.

To celebrate this change in label structure all releases will be pay-what- thou-wilt until the date of June 18th

Blankstairs started in 2013 - birthed by Nathaniel Young (Guilt Attendant) and Warren Mark Way (Saint Warren). The goal was simple; proliferate the auditory art of close friends and imbibe the usual substance suspects. We will not stray from this path despite the new name. And do not worry all is well between the duo of Nathaniel and Warren - you may catch them mixing records sometime very soon if you live in New York.

To celebrate I present you now with the first set of recordings I had originally released on Tripped Erotica Index in 2018 - "Beautiful Agony".
A double entendre referencing both the futile state of our existence and a series of pornographic films I was quite fond of as a teenager. I'll let you do that google search instead of providing a link.

I Produced these between 2013 and 2018 in Portland, Oregon in a dingy basement on Prescott and 43rd
and Brooklyn, New York in a sketchy artist loft next to the navy yard.

All love, thank you to everyone for the undying support over the years. There are too many to list here and someday I hope to publish an exhaustive list one day - but alas it is 5am and this album post is a bit impulsive and I lack patience.
